I love working with Richard. He is collaborative in every sense of the word. We have worked together over the last 20 years in many different situations inside contemporary dance, theatre and opera projects. I have worked with him as a choreographer and director in my own name and also as an associate director/movement director in collaboration with other directors. I know Richard mainly in the role of a contemporary dance performer, but also as a classical singer and a physical theatre performer. He immerses all of himself in the world and character of a piece of work. He is committed, supportive, thoughtful and kind. He has a quality and presence that I have always found inspiring. He is wonderfully musical and rigorous, moment by moment, thought by thought, living inside the present in a curious, beautiful way.
A moving portrayal of a solitary and complex talent amidst the enormity of world shattering events. Sensitively conceived and directed, beautifully sung, acted and played.

It was so deeply felt, so illuminating, I really felt I'd been to another time.
